We operate a kindergarten program housed in the Hay Lakes School located at 3rd. Ave 1st St. N. in Hay Lakes, Alberta, Canada. Our Kindergarten program is funded by Alberta Education, thus we follow the rationale and philosophy that has been prepared by Alberta Education. Our teacher, Mrs. Wrubleski, not only prepares children for success in Grade 1, but also provides the foundation for later success in school. The purpose of Kindergarten is to provide learning experiences that are developmentally appropriate in order to meet the diverse needs of children and promote a positive attitude toward lifelong learning.
Please view our site and if you have any questions regarding our program, we would be more than happy to meet with you. We offer full day kindergarten from 8:30 a.m. - 3:15 p.m. with kindergarten students attending school two or three days each week.
As we are a private kindergarten, we have the advantage of autonomy in determining class size, fee structure and field trip experiences. The biggest advantage is, that once the program standards of Alberta Education have been met, we can choose to enhance the education of our kindergarten students. In the past our enhancements have included small class sizes, in class programs/visitors and many educational field trips.
Registrations are still being accepted for 2018-2019
